Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie

The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery division offers a broad range of treatments for the face, head, and neck in this relatively young independent surgical subspecialty. Care for the patients entrusted to us, education and research are tightly interwoven. Through direct integration of research, we can guarantee evidence-based patient care and education. We work in a state-of-the-art environment. The latest technology is available in patient care as well as teaching and training.

Our highly interdisciplinary field finds its clinical and scientific home at the interface where medicine meets dentistry. Our division is responsible for all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Given the broad range of surgical options, a variety of different medical conditions are diagnosed and treated in clinical practice. Our primary focus is on reconstructive surgery for the head, neck and face (e.g., for malignant tumors), correction of skeletal malocclusion and treatment of congenital facial malformations.
